This 30-word wordsearch was created to support a Grade 5 class who had read the wonderful story of Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl.
The wordsearch puzzle, like wordsearches in general, was a great task to include in their learning to help them recall information about the story, reinforce spellings, encourage discussion about events, and to prepare them for a comprehension activity.
FIVE quality wordsearches with 30 words each and complementary images to keep the children engaged and encouraging them to exercise their curiosity by making the connections.

This pack includes a 54 word wordsearch puzzle containing key terms relating to the beautiful game of football (‘soccer’ to some of you.)
The match-up activity requires the matching up of the definitions to the 20 football key terms such as assist, dribble, kickoff, offiside :)

The second resource in this bundle is a 16-question activity, requiring kids to carry out some research. They will surely learn a lot including Guy Fawkes not being the main culprit, as well as which British actor’s ancestor was the actual brains behind the infamous plot.
The third resource in this bundle is a fun computing activity for which the kids will complete pixel art activities of the Gunpowder Plot themed pictures, but they’ll need to convert binary numbers to decimal numbers first! (Instructions are given for this.) There are also two additional worksheets for kids to create their own pixel art piece. This file is an xls file created in MS Excel.

This is a great resource and sold so well during the time of the World Cup 2018. But your kids would still thoroughly enjoy this even if they don’t have a love for football/soccer.
The wordsearch and anagrams activity are great activities to strengthen pattern-recognition skills and enhance vocabulary, and a fantastic way to practice pronunciation of names from around the world.

This is a great bundle to get into the mood of the UEFA Champions League - Final 16, for the 2020/2021 year.
This contains 3 resources plus the solutions for each:

This is a wonderful bundle of synonyms wordsearches for common words used by kids in all sorts of pieces of work.
This will be particularly useful for kids when it comes to them writing extended pieces as well as to help them extend their vocabulary in speech.
